Fairlight Interludes: Interstitial Music for AGNSW

Commissioned score for Volume Festival, Art Gallery of NSW September 2023

Played throughout the gallery as background/ambient sound between performances, the work is made entirely from Fairlight CMI improvisations recorded at Melbourne Electronic Sound Studio (MESS). The Fairlight CMI is the first digital synthesiser and sampler, developed in Sydney in the late 70s.
